Tourism and Economic
Development Kentucky Public Transit plays an important role in Economic Development and Tourism.
The Kentucky Public
Transportation Network is composed of transit operators,
private for profit transportation companies (including
Taxi), and highway and road transportation funding
through TEA-21, airports, Intermodal Bus Companies and
rail. Tourist ride the bus, because they find it easier than maneuvering through traffic lanes and finding a place to park the private automobile.
